Pecan nut is a well rounded carrier oil. It is often chosen as a more unique alternative to the more popular oils - grapeseed, canola, almond sweet.
AROMATIC:
The Pecan nut has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils, though some slight nutty tones can be detected
CONSISTENCY:
Typical but slightly thicker than most Carrier Oils.
ABSORPTION:
Pecan Nut Oil will leave an oily film on the skin.
SHELF LIFE:
Pecan nut oil is quick to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 3 to 6 Months life with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
USES:
Pecan nut oil is normally used in manufacturing, or in massage therapy if small amounts are blended with other oils.
CAUTIONS:
None documented but should be avoided by those suffering a nut allergy.
